ESN prides itself on its commitment to both the environment and society. This means complying with environmental and social legislation, working proactively to reduce our own carbon footprint, integrating responsible choices in the entire supply value chain, working with subcontractors who share our values, and building mutually beneficial, respectful relationships with staff, freelancers and partners.
ESN’s success is built on high efficiency and lasting, respectful partnerships with our clients and suppliers. We apply the European Framework for Quality Management’s guidelines for corporate social responsibility. We are also a proud member of Febelux, the association for the live communication industry; the Worldcom Group®, a worldwide network of public relations and communication agencies; Read our Quality Policy Statement for more information.
- In 2018, ESN achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification, which recognises our environmental management procedures.
- ESN is certified in web eco-design and is an active member of Conception Numérique Responsable, a think tank for the sustainable design of digital services. ESN is also a voluntary participant in the Brussels-Capital Region’s official ‘Eco-dynamic Business’ environmental labelling system, managed by the Institut Bruxellois pour la Gestion de l’Environnement (IBGE).
To reduce our ecological impact and promote good practices, we take part in several environmental initiatives, such as the European Week for Waste Reduction and the European Mobility Week, environmental training and info-sessions, and eco-design symposia. We recycle, reuse, and conserve energy as much as possible. We favour public transport and only provide hybrid or electric cars to employees when necessary. Homeworking is common practice, which empowers our staff to avoid unnecessary travel for work, reinforcing efficiency as a core value at ESN.
