This year, as the global situation concerning COVID-19 remains uncertain, we have had to postpone the 40th Isicem edition until next year. It will now take place on 16-19 March 2021.
Since our marketing strategy is to transform any market threat in a new commercial opportunity, we jointly decided with our client to launch a new project. The virtual Isicem, which was held from 15-19 September, was both novel and exciting.
Nowadays, it is a particularly important time for intensivists worldwide to stay connected and exchange experiences and expertise, creating plenty of interaction and active discussions – a new format that is very different from simple webinars.
The new e-Isicem platform also includes an e-Exhibition area, enabling some sponsors to showcase their new products and services, as well as an e-Posters application presenting all the selected medical abstracts.
It was a huge success and all the participants are looking forward to meeting up again in the traditional face-to-face format in March 2021.
